First of all, sorry! Terrible though it is, this was the first/second game I ever bought with my own money – £10 for Christmas, which went on Jet Set Willy for £7.95 and this for £1.99, from Boots in Cardiff. Before this I only had Depthcharge and Pulz64, so I ended up playing this a fair bit. And yeah, it's terrible and basic but it's also a heck of a challenge, although frustrating as hell. Especially when you're playing on a rubbishy Pointmaster joystick. Kids playing Dark Souls and the like these days have no idea… (And it was either this or Purple Turtles for £1.99 so I think it could've been worse. Great cover picture, at least..)Fwiw (I know you're not going to be going back to this) but at the white blob, instead of going round to the left and having to pull back to make it round the gap in the fence, you can cut across the grass on the right, between the two green blobs. That said, I don't think it's much easier that way, but it's a bit of variety 😉
Not as good as bmx simulator and its sequels , those games was great ( do those next there budget titles from codemasters ) did this come before those around 1986. Throw Grand Prix , ATV and ski simulator in there as well.
What a terrible game. Money would have been better spent back in the day to purchase an Ahoy magazine or Compute's Gazette and type in a better program.
Apparently there is actually two versions of this game. I know one version is slightly better than the other, but they both are pretty dire. If this is the "better" version…God help us
TAC-2 was my favorite C64 joystick. I had two quickshots (both IIs), The Boss (probably my favorite joystick that didn;t have microswitches as I got like 8 years out of it), and a Wico Ergostick. Never did have a Competition Pro, sadly.

22.02.2023I had this back in the day. I never finished it because at the beginning of course 4 the 'course completed' text blocked the track .
